Abstract:
To prevent a mold preheating burner from failure by reducing the weight of the burner and simplifying its structure; to facilitate its operation and maintenance; and to uniformly heat a mold and improve heat efficiency.
A heat-resistant steel disk 3 having a small hole 4 at the center thereof is arranged under a gas burner nozzle 2 with a predetermined distance therefrom. Radiant heat reflected from the disk 3 mainly heats the upper side of a mold C. Meanwhile, flame through the small hole 4 of the disk 3 heats a pouring opening CO of the mold C, and flame flow rising from between the disk 3 and the mold C mainly heats the lower side of the mold C.
