Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the strength of a rib part and to enhance the accuracy of a gear by forming a hollow part or a foamed layer to the rib part of the molded gear.
CONSTITUTION: A gate 10 having an air pressure feed nozzle 9 is provided to the cavity template 3 of a mold and air is supplied to the rib part 8 of a molded gear at the time of molding to form a hollow part 11 and a molding material having a foaming material mixed therewith is injected in the mold to form a foamed layer 12 and the strength of the rib part 8 is increased and the accuracy of the gear is enhanced.
