Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold an electrofusion joint having a cylindrical inner surface.
SOLUTION: Injection molding is conducted by using a mold 13 of which a core 11 is formed, in the shape of an ellipse of which the minor axis is made to coincide with the direction of injection of resin from a gate, in view of such a change in the shape after molding that the diameter comes to be long in the direction of injection of the resin from the gate.
