To rapidly take out a molded article while enabling the shortening of a cooling time in an injection molding cycle by providing the base connected to an injection molding machine to a molded article taking-out and cooling device so as to be capable of accurately adjusting the operation of the injection molding machine.
A molded article handling apparatus 10 includes a base 30 and is connected to a molding machine. A motor 38 moves a carriage 34 and the molded article engaging device 36 provided to the end part of an arm 32 so as to allow them to advance and retreat with respect to a space 19 and moves an assembly 34 and the molded article engaging device 36 to one of a predetermined number of positions set to the positional relation opposed to a transfer assembly 40. The molded article is taken out of the molded article engaging device 36 by the transfer assembly 40 to be fed to a cooling part 46 to stay therein only for a cooling time. After the molded article is completely cooled to desired temp., one set of the molded articles are taken out of the cooling part 46 by the transfer assembly 40.
