Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a molded article from which a product that is water-disintegrable can be attained and can thus be dealt with by being flushed into a toilet or the like, and which also has high aesthetics and has never existed before. [Solution] A molded article (an applicator inserted into a vaginal cavity is excluded) contains pulp, carboxymethyl cellulose salt, and starch, wherein the ratio of the pulp, the carboxymethyl cellulose salt, and the starch is set such that the pulp:carboxymethyl cellulose salt:starch is equal to 50-80 mass%:15-40 mass%:5-10 mass%.
