Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve workability while sharply reducing the number of part items and manhours by modularizing these members by preinstalling an assist grip (an accessory) on the molded roof lining.
SOLUTION: In an assembling process of this molded roof lining assembly M, an installing recessed part 33 integrally formed on the molded roof lining 2 and a projecting part of a bolt 8 for inserting an installing seat part 11 of the accessory 1 are fastened and fixed to a nut part 16 of a spring clip 6. Next, a cover 4 is installed in an opening peripheral edge part of the installing recessed part 33 so as to cover an opening part of the installing recessed part 33. When installing the roof lining assembly M on a car body panel 3, the cover 4 is pressed to the car body panel 3 side. An abutting part is arranged for mutually abutting along a side wall part 33b of the installing recessed part 33 to the cover 5 and the installing recessed part 33 so that the spring clip 6 is properly fitted in an installing hole 17 of the car body panel 3 by this pressing force.
