To provide a molding apparatus capable of molding by a degassing molding method regardless of a cassette mold usage, and molding method.
The molding apparatus is equipped with at least one pair of molds and a cavity 1 composed under mold closing state of the molds where at least one side of the pair of molds consists of a fixed part 11 and a cavity part 12. Also, the following are installed to the cavity part 12: a hollow 1b which composes at least a part of the cavity 1, an exhaust port 2 prepared outside of the hollow 1b, an air vent 13b which makes the hollow 1b communicate with the exhaust port 2, a runner 3 connected to the hollow 1b, an inner fence protrusion 16b formed around the runner 3 and around the hollow 1b except the position of air vent 13b so that it may not intercept the runner 3 and the air vent 13b and an outer fence protrusion 17b formed around the inner fence protrusion 16b except the position of the runner 3. Further, the air exhaust port 2 is positioned between the inner fence protrusion 16b and the outer fence protrusion 17b.
