PURPOSE: To perform the processing and cast molding of slip with good working efficiency and reduce the dimension of the title apparatus by mounting a bottom mold on the base of a fixed frame, lowering an inner mold and registered side molds by means of an elevating hydraulic cylinder device, and clamping the side molds to each other after clamping the side molds and the intermediate mold to the bottom mold.
CONSTITUTION: Suspending devices 9, 9 are both drawn toward the central part of the title apparatus along a running guide 8 by operating a hydraulic cylinder device 13. and side molds 19, 19 suspended from a suspending frame 12 are matched on the perpendicular plane at the central part of the apparatus. Thereafter, the piston 7 of an elevating hydraulic cylinder device 5 is extended to lower as inner mold 18 and the side molds 19 toward a bottom mold 17, and, during this lowering, the side molds 19, 19 between hydraulic presses 27, 27 are placed on the bottom mold 17 and matched with the bottom mold 17. Subsequently, the intermediate mold 18 is placed on the side molds 19, 19 to be matched therewith, and, by the operation of the hydrau lic cylinder device 5, the inner mold 18, the side molds 19, 19 and the bottom mold 17 are clamped to one another in a perpendicular direction.
