Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-solidified molding device which can obtain more minute and uniform spherical particles, and at the same time, which can realize advantages such as the improvement of energy efficiency and the shortening of manufacturing time, and which can manufacture an extruded material with high quality in a short time by preventing a drop of durability of components caused by pressurization.
SOLUTION: The other end side of a second sleeve 22 is directed downward and it is closed by a plunger 3. The electromagnetic field is impressed to the second sleeve 22 with an agitation part 1. A semi-solid metallic slurry is manufactured by pouring molten metal M from one end side of the second sleeve 22. The other end side of the second sleeve 22 is directed upwardly and it is made to communicate with a first sleeve 21. The semi-solid metallic slurry in the second sleeve 22 is pressurized with the plunger 3 and it is discharged from a slurry discharging port 23 of the first sleeve 21. The semi-solid metallic slurry is made into the extruded material by cooling it by a spray type cooling device 62 while conveying it by a conveying roller.
