Abstract:
A front sleeve (21) is formed with a discharge opening (23) and is connected to a rear sleeve (22). Molten metal (M) is filled in the rear sleeve and is stirred by application of an electromagnetic field to form a semi-solid-metal slurry. The slurry is discharged into a molding portion (6) through a discharge opening, using a plunger (3).
