To provide a fixture for a molding for decorating so as to cover a groove having a strong fixed force, not causing unfixing even by the long-term vibration of a vehicle body, and not requiring an adhesive tape.
This fixture 1 for the molding is provided with a plate-like base 2 fixed on a groove bottom surface. The base has first molding edge locking portions 9 locked to the first incurved edges of the molding and provided at one end, and also two blind rivets 5 are retained. A slide retainer 3 is assembled on the base in order to be slid in a diagonal direction of the base. The slide retainer has a second molding edge locking portion 19 locked to the second incurved edge of the molding and a stopper 21 projecting on an edge side with the second molding edge locking portion positioned. With the base fixed on the groove bottom surface by the blind rivets, when the slide retainer is slid, the stopper abuts on a sidewall to set a portion between the second molding edge locking portion and the sidewall to have a constant length.
