To increase thrust transmitted to a rectlinear movement member.
A molding machine has a movement direction conversion part which is connected to the output shaft of a driving part, receives the rotation of the output shaft, and converts rotational movement into rectlinear movement, a first cylinder part 58 generating pressure with the rectlinear movement of the movement direction conversion part, and a second cylinder part 59 which is installed to communicate with the first cylinder part 58 and moves a pressure-receiving member forward/backward based on the pressure transmitted from the first cylinder part 58. Since the pressure-receiving members of the first and second cylinder parts 58, 59 have different pressure-receiving areas, for example, when the pressure-receiving area of the pressure-receiving member of the second cylinder part is made larger than that of the pressure-receiving member of the first cylinder part, the thrust transmitted to the rectlinear movement member can be increased.
