To obtain a molding material excellent in transparency, heat resistance, chemical resistance, electric insulation and high frequency property useful for medical care and medicine or insulating material for electric and electronic parts by including a specific copolymer.
This composition comprises (A) to (B). (A) is a copolymer comprising 0 to 39 mole % of a compound of formula I (R1 is H, a 1 to 16C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon) and 61 to 100% of a compound of formula II (R2 is the same as R1). (B) is a copolymer including the repeating unit of formulas I to III (n and p are each 0 or 1; m is an integer; R3 to R22 are each H, a halogen or aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbon group), and the repeating unit of formula IV (q is 2 to 8), in the molar ratio of (I+II)/(III+IV)=95 to 99.9/0.1 to 5, I/II=0 to 39/61 to 100, IV/III=0 to 95/5 to 100. The above described copolymers have reduced viscosity ηsp/c of 0.25 to 3 dL/g observed in 0.5 g/dL toluene solution at 30°C, and the amount of the remaining metallic components is 10 ppm.
