To provide a molding method of fiber-reinforced composite materials which facilitates a resin impregnation, and enables a securement of a high-fiber content avoiding resin waste in carrying out a molding of composite materials having a large size, a high strength of a wall thickness, and a high toughness.
The molding method of the composite materials comprises the step of arranging a preform which is a laminate of reinforced fiber substrates on a base mount, of covering it with a bag film, of sucking the inside of the bag film to depressurize, and thereafter, of injecting a liquid resin into the bag film inside to cure. Further, the molding method of the composite materials has a first process of injecting the resin by 45%-95% of a void volume of the preform after the preform of 5-55% larger in volume than the volume of the target molded body is used to suck the inside of the bag film and depressurize, a second process of reducing the volume of the bag film inside up to the volume of the target molded body, and a third process of carrying out a resin curing.
