To provide a molding method of an inorganic plate by which inorganic plates by different control methods can be molded by one press-molding machine when a cement based green plate is press-molded.

The cement based green plate is set on the press-molding machine, and the press-molding is performed by sliding a molding die and pressing the fresh plate by this molding method of the inorganic plate. In this case, whether the molding die has slid to a set location or not is detected. Alternatively, whether a pressure which is pressed by the molding die has reached a set pressure or not is detected. The press-molding is completed when either one of them is detected.
