Abstract:
To predict a wear state of a gate.SOLUTION: A molding system comprises: a molding device for molding a molded product; and an abnormality predicting device for predicting abnormality of the molding device. The molding device comprises: a mold part which forms therein, a cavity, and has a gate opened to the cavity side; an injection part for performing, a filling operation for filling a molten molding material in the cavity, via the gate, a pressure holding operation for holding a pressure of the molding material filled in the cavity, and a pressure holding release operation for releasing holding of the pressure of the molding material; and a pressure sensor for detecting the pressure of the molding material in the cavity. The abnormality predicting device has: a data acquisition part for acquiring an evaluation value related to change of the pressure of the molding material after the pressure holding release operation, on the basis of time series data of the pressure detected by the pressure sensor; and an abnormality predicting part for acquiring prediction information for predicting a wear state of the gate, on the basis of the evaluation value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
