To provide a mold and a mold production method capable of realizing production cost reduction and sand mold molding time reduction.SOLUTION: A mold 1 comprises: a casting shape part 10; and a casting plan part 20. The casting shape part 10 comprises an internal space 12. The casting plan part 20 is connected to the casting shape part 10 and has a flow passage 26. The flow passage 26 communicates with the internal space 12. The casting shape part 10 is a lamination molding sand mold.
