Abstract:
To provide a moment limiter device for boom work device that prevents or suppresses the occurrence of overload work while fully utilizing the performance of the boom work device.SOLUTION: A moment limiter device sets rated load switching lines that pass through center coordinates of outrigger floats 16 and a boom turning center B0, respectively when each outrigger is in contact with the ground, sets a rated load performance to a maximum rated load performance when determining that the center coordinates of the outrigger floats 16 of each two of the neighboring outriggers in a turning direction of the boom 5 are both beyond an overhang distance, sets the rated load performance to a minimum rated load performance when determining that at least one of the center coordinates of the outrigger float 16 of each two of the outriggers does not exceed the overhang distance, and calculates a rated load value for a current working radius using a rated load table corresponding to the rated load performance in a virtual area on a tip direction side of the boom 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
