To provide a money-enclosed envelope, which makes an article put in a storage part of the envelope difficult to see, and facilitates putting in and taking out of the article.
The money-enclosed envelope 10 made of a paper bag having the bag-shaped storage part 24 into which a bill or the like is inserted. A lid 18 for opening and closing an opening of the storage part 24 is formed by folding an extended portion, extending from the back of the storage part 24, on a given fold. When the lid 18 is folded on the fold to close the opening, a pocket 20 forming an opening near the end edge of the lid 18 is formed on the surface side of the storage part 24. A clip is inserted into the opening of the pocket 20 to pinch both end edge of the lid 18 closing the opening of the storage part 24 and the opening end of the pocket 20. A decoration 14, such as a red-and-white paper string, is attached to the crip to appear on the surface side of the money-enclosed envelope 10.
