PURPOSE: To easily recognize a selective unit that can be selected by a user by displaying only a selective button in accordance with the selective unit that can be selected.
CONSTITUTION: When a paper money is inputted, an effective exchange pattern discrimination circuit 63 fetches the selective unit that can be selected by exchanged amount (input aggregate amount) from an exchange pattern storage area 71, and displays only the selective unit on a selective button column 44. A touch input judging circuit 65 repeats the check of each button on the selective button column 44. When the button is depressed, the selective unit is judged, and the total sum of the selective unit is calculated. A balanced amount arithmetic circuit 66 calculates the balanced amount and sends it to a money kind information display control circuit 62, and displays the total amount of the selective unit inputted from the touch input judging circuit 65 on the corresponding the column out of exchange amount display columns 43a-43f. Thereafter, the minimum amount that can be exchanged is compared with the balanced amount, and the effective exchange pattern discrimination circuit 63 fetches and displays the selective unit that can be selected by the balanced amount from the exchange pattern storage area 71 of a storage part 7.
