Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring apparatus having a monitoring camera, an infrared sensor and the like, and to provide a monitoring system using the monitoring apparatus.SOLUTION: The monitoring apparatus of the present invention includes: a monitoring camera 104b; an infrared sensor 104e for detecting infrared light from a horizontal direction and infrared light from a ground direction, and detecting intrusion; a control device 104f for generating an alarm and threatening when the intrusion of an intruder into a monitored area is detected by the infrared sensor 104e; and a post 202 formed by burying a root segment in the ground so that the root segment can be transferred, and connecting multiple segments, in order to attach each means. A monitoring zone is formed along a boundary demarcating the monitored area. The infrared sensor 104e monitors an area having a substantially half conical shape with an apex of which is the infrared sensor 104e, and the control device 104f notifies the outside of the intrusion when the intrusion is detected.
