Title:
MONITORING CAMERA SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2643830
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the system to connect various kinds of cameras with a different load current without incurring troublesome setting operation and mis- setting.
CONSTITUTION: A constant current supply 10 of a power supply device 1 supplies a low current whose amplitude is considerably limited to a steady current to the camera system 2 at starting. A mis-connection protection circuit 24 of the camera equipment 2 provides the output of a rectangular pulse signal with a pulse width set by a pulse width setting circuit 25 to the power supply device 1 in response to the low current from the constant current source 10. A pulse width detection circuit 11 of the power supply device 1 detects the pulse width of the rectangular pulse generated by the mis-connection protection circuit 24. A current setting circuit 12 commands a constant current proportional to the pulse width detected by the pulse width detection circuit 11 to the constant current source 10. The constant current source 10 supplies the steady current set by the current setting circuit 12 to the camera system 2.
