Abstract:
To provide a monitoring device configured to avoid a problem in which detection of abnormality of a battery is excessively limited.SOLUTION: A monitoring device for a battery supplying electric power to a motor for travel of a vehicle comprises: a sensor which detects voltage of a battery cell of the battery; and a processing circuit which can perform abnormality detection processing for detecting abnormality of the battery on the basis of a detection voltage value detected by the sensor. The processing circuit performs processing S12 of specifying the first elapsed time from the turn-off of a main switch of the vehicle to the start of charging or discharging between the battery and a prescribed mounted-instrument, processing S16 of specifying the second elapsed time from the start of charging or discharging between the battery and the mounted-instrument to a current time point, and abnormality detection processing S20 when the total time of the first elapsed time and second elapsed time reaches a prescribed threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
