Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device for elevator that suppresses concentration of abnormality reports in a case of earthquake occurrence and facilitates subsequent management on report data.SOLUTION: A monitoring device for elevator includes: earthquake sensing means of sending a shake of a building due to an earthquake; mode determination means of determining whether an operation mode is a first mode or second mode based upon the sensing result of the earthquake sensing means; data generation means of generating data for report which reports abnormality occurrence to the outside based upon an abnormality signal from a control board for elevator; and control means of transmitting the data for report to the outside through a communication line when the operation mode determined by the mode determination means is the first mode. When the operation mode determined by the mode determination means is the second mode, the control means suspends the transmission of the data for report to the outside on condition that the degree of emergency of the data for report is lower than a predetermined standard.
