PURPOSE: To automatically monitor the leakage of a lining material from a formwork and whether the lining in the formwork is normally hardened or not from a remote location.
CONSTITUTION: The zoom and direction of an infrared camera 7 are operated by a camera control device 8, a monitor position is photographed by the infrared camera 7, the image data thus obtained are fed to a thermal image processing device 10, and the image data are thermally image-processed to obtain the heat distribution of the monitor position. Since a lining material 1 filled between an inner formwork 3 and an outer formwork 4 generates heat during hardening, whether there is an abnormality or not can be known when the heat distribution of the monitor position is obtained. When there is a portion near the end section of the formwork having an abnormally high temperature as compared with the formwork, it is known that a leakage 1' of the lining material 1 occurs at this portion. When the temperature of all formworks is nearly constant and there is no portion having a low temperature in particular, it is known that the hardening of the lining material 1 is normal.
