Abstract:

To provide a system which achieves highly-reliable failure monitoring by a simple operation regardless of skill of maintenance staff with respect to occurrence of a silent failure that cannot be recognized as an explicit failure state in a conventional monitoring system.

Alarm data that should be displayed to the maintenance staff is generated by an alarm data management unit 114 based on information on a device state of a monitoring target device (device state data management unit 111), network configuration information and communication path information of each communication device in a monitoring target network (network data management unit 113), and information on a communication status based on transmission/reception of pseudo user data (pseudo user communication data management unit 112).
