Abstract:
To provide a monitoring system of a heavy simple overhead line capable of constantly monitoring a state of a trolley line and a catenary line, and to provide a heavy simple overhead line and the catenary line with an optical fiber which can be applied to the monitoring system.SOLUTION: There is provided a catenary overhead line 10 with an optical fiber comprising an optical fiber housing tube 12 in which an optical fiber detection line 122 is housed in an inside 123 of a hollow tube 121, and a catenary line main body 11 consisting of a plurality of strands 111 twisted so as to surround the periphery of the optical fiber housing tube 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
