Abstract:
To provide a monitoring system making it possible to upgrade a disaster prevention capability.SOLUTION: A monitoring system 2 monitors a moving area of a door 11 that opens an opening 321 when no fire occurs, and moves to close the opening 321 in case of a fire. The monitoring system includes cameras 211 that take an image of the moving area, a moving area monitoring unit that monitors the moving area on the basis of the images taken by the cameras 211, and an indicator lamp 221 and an acoustic device 222 which output a result of the monitoring by the moving area monitoring unit. The cameras 211 include at least two cameras disposed with a predetermined space between them. When the cameras are disposed on the door 11, the cameras are located at respective ends of at least an upper part of the door 11. When the cameras are disposed on a shutter curtain, the cameras are located at respective ends of at least a distal part in a closing direction of the shutter curtain.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
