NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I {X is -NR2R3, -OR4 or -SR5 [R2 to R5 are each H, (substituted) alkyl, phenyl, etc., provided that R4 excludes H]; Z1 and Z2 are each -SO2CH=CR2, etc.; A is (substituted) phenylene, alkylene, etc.; R7 is H, (substituted) alkyl; R6 is methyl, carboxyl, etc.; R7 is OH or amino; R8 is H, methyl or sulfo; R9 is H or (substituted) alkyl; D is (substituted) phenylene or naphthylene} in the form of free acid.
EXAMPLE: A compound expressed by formula II.
USE: A dye capable of dyeing cellulose fiber, polyamide fiber, polyurethane fiber, leather, etc., to blue and having excellent light resistance and fastness to humidity.
PREPARATION: Either one of a compound expressed by formula III, amine expressed by formula IV and further compound expressed by formula V to formula VII is condensed with 2,4,6-trihalogeno-s-triazine.
