NEW MATERIAL:A monoclonal antibody produced by a hybridoma prepared by using flat epithelial cancer derived strain (PC-10) of lung.middle degree differentiation type as an immune source having the following characteristics. Ig Class (subclass): IgM (K). Recognition antigen type: cell membrane superficial type antigen. Reactivity with cancerous cells; showing positive reactivity with lung cancer (PC-10) cell.
USE: A diganosticum for flat epithelial cancer of lung.middle degree differentiation type, imaging for tumor and an antitumor agent.
PREPARATION: For example, lung cancer cell (PC-10) is ground and extracted to give a high polymer fraction. A mouse, etc., is immunized against the fraction, a splenocyte is collected and subjected to cell fusion with myeloma cell to give a hybridoma. Then, it is cloned by limiting dilution to give a monoclone, which is transplanted into a mouse abdominal cavity and cultivated to give a monoclonal antibody.
