Abstract:

To provide a monopole antenna for easily and reliably preventing the biasing of radiation characteristics.

The monopole (5) is set erect at one surface side of a circuit board (3), at the same time, a metal case (6) is provided at the other surface side of the circuit board, and they are covered with an exterior finish case (7). The metal case comprises a bottom plate section (8) that opposes the circuit board with a gap, a side-surface section (9) that is extended from the periphery of the bottom plate section to the circuit board and is fixed to the circuit board, and a strip of metal board (11), that is extended in a periphery direction outside the side surface section. The strip of metal board is made of a member that is corrugated by bending to advance circumferentially, and is forced in between the side surface section and the exterior finish case.
