Title:
MONOPOLE ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01181305
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for the adjustment of the length of the antenna and to attain miniaturization and simplicity by providing a VHF high frequency stub and a UHF stub and obtaining a high impedance at each stub position so as to separate an undesired antenna part apparently in each reception frequency.

CONSTITUTION: A VHF high frequency stub 13 having a length of 1/4 wavelength of the VHF high reception frequency is provided on other end of an antenna 11 whose total length corresponds to 1/4 wavelength of the VHF low reception frequency and whose one end is used as a feeding point, and a UHF stub 18 having a length of 1/4 wavelength of the UHF reception frequency is provided on the one end. Then a high impedance is obtained at each stub position so as to separate apparently the undesired antenna part at each reception frequency. Thus, it is not required to adjust the length of the antenna 1 and the monopole antenna with miniaturized and simple constitution is obtained.
