PURPOSE: To perform safe and most appropriate mooring of the floating body by bringing one end of a mooring rod in to engagement with the guide rail of the floating body through a guide roller to allow the floating body to move up and down due to the variation in wave and tide.
CONSTITUTION: The guide roller 6 extending in the upward and downward direction is provided on the side surface of the floating body 1, and one end on a mooring rod 3 is in engagement with the guide rail 6 through a guide roller. When the floating body undergoes upward and downward movement the variation in tide and wave, this movement is permitted by the movement of one end of the mooring rod 3 within the guide rail 6, and simultaneously permitted by the bending of the mooring rod in a hinge 5. The horizontal movement of the floating body 1 is positively restricted in a predetermined range by the operation of a tension cell shaped fender 9 through mooring rods 3 and 4. Moreover, reference numeral 11 designates a pressing cell shaped fender.
