Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing image quality reduction and re-imaging due to a motion artifact generated with the body motion of a subject in a dental X-ray CT apparatus.SOLUTION: A dental X-ray imaging apparatus which includes an X-ray source, X-ray imaging means, a rotation arm integrally supporting the X-ray source and the X-ray imaging means so as to be opposed to each other around a subject, rotation means for rotating the rotation arm and an apparatus frame supporting the rotation means comprises: a process A of installing a 3D scanner capable of real-time scan to acquire 3D data of the face with the 3D scanner at the time of imaging start; a process B of acquiring 3D data of the face with the 3D scanner at all times during CT scan with X-ray; and a process of correcting reconstruction calculation of projection data acquired with X-ray CT scan in accordance with the positional change of the face on the basis of the information obtained with the 3D scanner in the process A and the process B.
