Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a motion detector which is easily set and highly accurate by setting a specific reference point at a video signal, detecting the difference of the video signals between frames fixed beforehand at the reference point, and detecting the motion of an image pickup object. CONSTITUTION:First and second memories 7 and 8 always store the sampling value of the reference signal point having the one frame difference of the video signals from a supervisory camera 1. Consequently, when the motion at the reference signal point in one frame is generated, and the value of the video signal at the point is changed, since the value change is detected by a digital signal comparing operation in a comparing circuit 9, the generation of abnormality at the supervisory point can be detected. The detecting signal is sent to an alarm device, an alarm is generated, and the signal is set to a VTR 2. The VTR 2 receiving the motion detecting signal picture-records the video from the supervisory camera 1 during a constant time fixed beforehand or until the motion detecting signals are eliminated. Thus, the specific motion of the object can be detected.
