Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion guide device having a magnetic scale capable of scraping off iron powder adhering to the magnetic scale by a scraper or a seal of a motion member without accompanying bad influences such as wear, deformation or the like of the magnetic scale.SOLUTION: A motion guide device including a magnetic scale of this invention comprises: a raceway member 1 having a rolling element running part 1b and having, at its upper surface, an opened through-pass hole 18 into which a fastening member is inserted; a moving member 2 movably assembled to the raceway member 1 through several rolling elements 3; a magnetic scale 7 formed at the raceway member 1 and formed with a groove 1a formed at the raceway member 1 and extending in a longitudinal direction and having N-pole and S-pole alternatively formed in a longitudinal direction; and a cover member 8 for covering the magnetic scale 7 and covering the opened through-pass hole 18 at the raceway member 1.
