To reduce wear in a brush of a motor, to prevent the production of a spark, and to ensure reliable continuity between the brush and a rectifier.
The motor includes: the rectifier having a rectifier rotating shaft, at least one rectifier face perpendicular to the rectifier rotating shaft, and multiple rectifier pieces disposed on the rectifier face; and the brush that has a brush rotating shaft parallel with the rectifier rotating shaft and at least one brush face perpendicular to the brush rotating shaft, and is rotatably supported so that part of the brush face is kept abutted against part of the rectifier pieces. It is preferable that: the rectifier should be flat and have two rectifier faces formed on both sides thereof; the brush should have two brush faces; and part of each of the two brush faces is abutted against part of the rectifier pieces of each of the two rectifier faces.
