Abstract:
PURPOSE: To apply braking force to a rotor with a simple configuration when a motor stops.
CONSTITUTION: Motor coils L1-L3 are connected to a drive power supply terminal t2 by a diode D, and current by back electromotive force which is generated at the coils L1-L3 is fed via the diode D for generating a rotary magnetic field in a direction which is opposite to that in the case of rotar drive rotation when the rotor stops rotating, thus applying braking force to the rotor simply by feeding current via the diode D when the motor stops without using a conventional relay circuit or a rotary stop detection circuit, etc.
