Abstract:
To suppress expansion of working fluid sucked from a suction port by heat of a motor.SOLUTION: In a housing (2) of a motor compressor (1), a suction port (40) is formed at one end side of a motor (4) housed in the housing (2). A drive shaft (8) extending to one end side and the other end side of the motor (4) in the housing (2) has: an axial hole (81) extending in an axial direction of the drive shaft (8) from one end side to the other end side of the motor (4); an inflow hole (82) communicated with the axial hole (81) at one end side of the motor (4) to allow a working fluid to flow into the axial hole (81); and an outflow hole (84) communicated with the axial hole (81) at the other end side of the motor (4) to allow the working fluid to flow out from the axial hole (81).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
