Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device which can be applied to a carrier wave synchronous type position estimation method and has a protective function such as detecting pole position inversion of a motor using a simple method, etc., and to provide a motor-driven vehicle using the device.
SOLUTION: A controller 4 controls a voltage applied to an AC motor 1 with a PWM signal. A pole position detection means 30 for the controller 4 estimates the pole position of the AC motor 1 by detecting the current of the AC motor 1. An abnormality detection means 40 detects an estimated abnormal of the pole position of the AC motor 1.
