Abstract:
To perform synchronous rectification by a driving circuit of a stepping motor and prevent current from flowing in a reverse direction when current is small.SOLUTION: A motor control circuit 2 includes field effect transistors Q1 to Q4 that supply electricity to coils L1 to L4 of a stepping motor 1, a PWM control unit 28 that performs synchronous rectification or non-synchronous rectification in the field effect transistors Q2 and Q4 when regenerative current is generated in the coils L2 and L4, comparators 24a and 24b that compare a set current value and the current flowing when current flows in the coils L2 and L4, and a control unit 21 that determines the set value of current that is supplied to the coils L1 and L3 by the field effect transistors Q1 and Q3 and allows the PWM control unit 28 to perform the synchronous rectification if the excess of the current flowing in the coils L1 and L3 over the set value is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
