Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device which can suppress the lowering of an output of a motor as a whole even at the occurrence of an abnormality of a master, and a steering device.SOLUTION: A motor control device comprises first and second ECUs, and the ECUs include operation processing parts 310, 320 which are combined with drive circuits, respectively. Rotation angles θm1, θm2 are individually inputted to the operation processing parts 310, 320, and a master/slave relationship is constructed. For example, when the first operation processing part 310 is a master, the first calculation processing part 310 calculates a torque command value, and operations of the drive circuits are controlled by using a detection result of the rotation angle θm1 which is obtained by the first calculation processing part 310 on the basis of the torque command value. Then, when an abnormality occurs in the rotation angle θm1, the rotation angle θm2 which is obtained by the second calculation processing part 320 is used for the control of the operations of the drive circuits in place of the rotation angle θm1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
