Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve prevention of an inverter or a motor from being destructed by suppressing a rise in a voltage across a capacitor terminal and a rise in a phase current running through each phase of the motor when the inverter is isolated from a DC power supply, as well as miniaturization and cost reduction.SOLUTION: The motor controller includes an inverter and a switching control part. The switching control part starts three-phase short-circuit processing at such timing that the maximum of respective phase current absolute values in a three-phase synchronous motor after starting the three-phase short-circuit processing becomes the minimum when executing three-phase short-circuit processing for turning on all of upper side switching elements or lower side switching elements which constitute the inverter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
