Abstract:
To provide a motor controller that can avoid deterioration of the insulation performance of an insulating coating without using a boost converter even when a voltage applied to a motor exceeds a partial discharge start voltage.SOLUTION: A motor controller 10 includes an atmospheric pressure sensor 11 that detects atmospheric pressure, a coil temperature sensor 12 that detects the coil temperature of a motor 6, and a voltage sensor 13 that detects the voltage applied to the motor 6, and calculates a partial discharge start voltage according to the atmospheric pressure detected by the atmospheric pressure sensor 11 and the coil temperature detected by the coil temperature sensor 12, limits the output of the motor 6 when the coil temperature detected by the coil temperature sensor 12 exceeds a set coil temperature upper limit value, and sets the coil temperature upper limit value low when the voltage detected by the voltage sensor 13 exceeds the partial discharge start voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
