Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control the drive of a motor by using a fewer number of elements than the conventional.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of braking a motor, a transistor Q7 is turned off, and the current from a power supply battery V is cut off. In this state, transistors Q1, Q2, Q3 are turned on simultaneously, and as a result, respective motor coils L1, L2, L3 can be shorted simultaneously. Therefore, the four transistors Q1, Q2, Q3, Q7, control the current in the case of driving the motor and cancel the counter electromotive forces of the motor in the case of braking the motor can be performed. Thereby, the circuit of the motor driver can be made simple and cheap.
