PURPOSE: To reduce noise caused by resonance, by integrally moulding with an engineering plastic material a finger guard section with small grille space for danger protection, a fan holding section and a housing section.
CONSTITUTION: A fan driving motor 16 fitted with a fan 18 is secured to a fan holding section 10 in the center of the motor with a screw member 22. This fan holding section 10 in the center encloses an fan 18 through a finger guard 11 having a thick spoke member 26 and a thin grilled rib member 12, and is of such a constitution as is integrally injection-moulded with an engineering plastic material together with an outside circumferential housing 14 forming a cooling air passage. In this structure, on account of material characteristic and reduction of member parts, the noise caused by resonance by rotating vibration of the fan or the cooled motor can be reduced.
