To provide a motor drive device allowing a motor to detect a rotation phase of a rotor with a magnetic sensor to stably output a torque.SOLUTION: In a motor drive device for outputting a combined output of a first motor 101 and a second motor 102, magnetic sensors 38, 39 of the first motor 101 detect a switching of poles when a first magnet 2 rotates in a state where a first magnetic pole portion 6a and a second magnetic pole portion 7a are excited to different polarities and magnetic sensors 40, 41 of the second motor 102 detect witching of poles when a second magnet 12 rotates in a state where a third magnetic pole portion 16a and a fourth magnetic pole portion 17a are excited to different polarities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
