Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device including a current detector for detecting DC bus current of an inverter, in which, when a short-circuit fault occurs in a switching element of the inverter, zero-point correction of the current detector can be suppressed from being erroneously performed.SOLUTION: A control section determines a first current detection value detected by a current detector when upper arms of the all phases of an inverter are in an ON-controlled state, determines a second current detection value detected by the current detector when lower arms of the all phases of the inverter are in an ON-controlled state, and sets a correction value for performing off-set correction of an output of the current detector on the basis of at least one of the first current detection value and the second current detection value when the deviation between the first current detection value and the second current detection value is equal to or less than a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
