Abstract:
To provide a motor drive device and a motor drive method capable of creating an efficient drive waveform with less reaction delay for a motor, by acquiring rotational position information detected by rotational position detection means of high degree of freedom.SOLUTION: A motor drive device includes a detector for detecting the rotational position of a rotor, a drive waveform generation circuit generating the drive waveform for the motor, a control section for controlling to synchronize the phase of the rotational position of the rotor and the phase of the drive waveform, and phase difference setting parts 310, 311 for setting a phase difference between the rotational position and the drive waveform during synchronization. An Apos generation part 301 calculates and outputs a position count proportional to the rotation amount of the rotor. A Bpos generation part 302 acquires a position count from the Apos generation part 301, and converts it into a count value where the upper limit is the maximum value (BposMax value). A Cpos generation part 304 multiplies the count value acquired from the Bpos generation part 302 by a conversion ratio, and calculates a count value where a prescribed upper limit is the maximum value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
