Abstract:
To provide a motor drive device and a state detection method capable of enhancing reliability more when an AC motor is driven.SOLUTION: A motor drive device of an embodiment has a drive amount command part and a determination part. The drive amount command part transmits a command to a plurality of single-phase inverters flowing current to each single-phase winding of an AC motor with a plurality of single-phase windings independent of each other. An integration part integrates measured values of first current flowing through a first single-phase winding of the plurality of single-phase windings at a predetermined interval to generate a first integration value, and integrates measured values of second current flowing through a second single-phase winding of the plurality of single-phase windings at the predetermined interval to generate a second integration value. The determination part determines a state of the plurality of single-phase inverters based on the first integration value and the second integration value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
